Helping Hands Outreach Center

Our Ministry

50 Lowell Street Manchester, NH | Men’s Recovery Shelter

Offering a supportive, safe, and sober environment in which men can make major steps toward autonomous, responsible living.

142 Central Street Manchester, NH | Gendron House

An “open-campus” sober living center, and the final step toward fully autonomous living.

  • Helping Hands supports homeless men who aspire to sober, responsible, and meaningful lives.

  • The vision of Helping Hands is to provide a path to renewed living, defined by spiritual maturity; belonging and purpose; and contribution to the community.

  • Through its two residential locations in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire, Helping Hands enables men to overcome homelessness, addiction, and poverty. The helping hands of this staff and volunteer community provide shelter, food, case management, behavioral health services, job training, peer support, a safe and supportive environment, and more.

The challenges of homelessness, addiction, prison, and poverty become surmountable with the helping hands of a community.
